Frank Morrow on Burial Markers

The Veterans' Service Office provides markers and flags for the grave of each veteran of Clermont County. Each cemetery handles the placement of the flags and markers independently. Please contact the cemetery to find out what their policy is. The Veterans' Service Office is happy to provide a flag and marker to family members who wish to mark the grave themselves.  Markers are available from the following periods:

1776
War of 1812
Indian War
G.A.R. Veteran
Confederate Veteran
Spanish American War
WWI
WWII
Korean War
Vietnam War
Persian Gulf
Iraq
Afghanistan
Standard Veteran (No Wartime Service)
National Guard

We are also happy to announce the addition of a new marker, The Purple Heart.  This can be displayed in addition to the wartime service marker.  As the numbers of the Purple Heart markers are limited, we ask that proof of award be presented.  For help with this or for any questions please feel free to contact us at 732-7363.
